In Florida, those simply arrested  for felonies can have their property seized - like cars, cash, computers, guns. However, this does not mean that the police are automatically entitled to what they take or that they are even following the proper procedure for executing a lawful seizure. Do NOT give up your things to the police without consulting legal counsel that understands the seizure laws.
